State College is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and State College follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

While traveling, you always want to find something local, unique, and delicious—and Sowers is exactly the kind of place that fulfills that need. The interior, the story behind the place, and its overall spirit kept my attention even while waiting in line to order. The food was just perfect, with the right portion size for breakfast. I especially appreciated the filter coffee—it tasted smooth and fresh, not burnt at all. There’s a good variety on the menu, so I think everyone can find something they enjoy. Definitely a great place for breakfast. Just make sure to come early because the line builds up quickly!

Incredible! Took my daughter to visit the campus since we were in Pittsburgh for summer, visiting family. After looking on Google places to eat, found this gem kids got chicken Caesar salad I had breakfast and the wife had gotten some type of sandwich and all of us couldn’t stop talking about how good the meal was. Such a cute little place. I can see how this place would be slammed when all the college kids are in school. The food was just amazing. The staff was so sweet so nice.

The spicy mango sriracha panini was the best sandwich I've ever eaten. The flavor combos going on there were just incredible. The chicken was tender and juicy and tasted amazing (clearly marinated with something heavenly!!). The chicken and avocado are prone to falling out though, so definitely grab a fork! The pretzel was very fresh - we watched them make it! - and scrumptiously soft. Absolutely delicious. We loved the outdoor seating too; this was the perfect lunch on a sunny day. ❤️

An amazing experience! On Saturday, I enjoyed a rich breakfast with my family at Sowers. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. It’s one of the most unique coffee shops in the area. We ordered French press blueberry tea and a cappuccino, along with a vegetable omelet and a spicy mango panini. Everything was absolutely delicious. My family kept saying how tasty it was. Highly recommend!
